For the Auditorium, USH is a verb.Major Areas of Responsibilities:Welcome guest to the Theatre in the most helpful manner possibleScan guests tickets, ensuring ticket is valid for performance and give accurate directionsGreet and escort guests to their assigned seats in an efficient and friendly mannerCheck work area for cleanliness and be sure all pathways are clear of obstacles or trashPro-actively attend to guests' needs: questions, directions, information regarding the performance, and Theatre policiesResponsible for a safe and efficient ingress and egressRespond to emergencies or guest related issues/concerns in a timely mannerAssemble and distribute programs to guestsCollect and return lost and found items to guestsMission:The Auditorium Theatre, an Illinois not-for-profit organization, is committed to presenting the finest in international, cultural, community, and educational programming to Chicago and to the continued restoration and preservation of the National Historic Landmark Auditorium Theatre.Commitment:The Auditorium Theatre thrives on the shared humanity that the performing arts provides.
