To support a growing security organization, the full-time remote Deputy CISO will partner with the CISO to define and execute the security strategy, provide technical leadership, and oversee security architecture and engineering efforts. Key responsibilities Partner with the CISO to define and execute the security strategy and roadmap across the organization Lead hands-on technical reviews of security architecture and drive secure-by-design practices in the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines Build, mentor, and lead security engineers and architects while overseeing responses to major security incidents Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in security engineering, architecture, or technical leadership roles with hands-on technical work Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Deep expertise in cloud security architecture, particularly AWS, and infrastructure-as-code Strong background in application security and modern architecture patterns Experience leading technical incident response and building technical security teams Virtual Vocations Inc
